Venue: NEC, Birmingham
Dates: 30 – 31 March 2022
At Channel Live visitors can see Xelion 8 demonstrated, the latest iteration of the company’s multi-award winning cloud telephony platform. Xelion 8 is a ‘ground up’ redesign, with new apps and functionality to meet the needs of customers in a post-pandemic world of flexible hybrid working patterns. Xelion 8 retains Xelion’s core product values of a reliable, open platform with a single user licence model.
Xelion 8 is the only desktop app in the UK channel to be delivered using WinUI, Microsoft launched WinUI WinUI (microsoft.github.io) as a way for developers to fully integrate applications within the Windows environment. Apps run smoothly, are prioritised when utilising voice and video automatically over other applications, and cannot be accidentally closed like browser-based services on the market. A Swift variant is available for iOS and MacOS.
Xelion 8 bring a complete multi-channel UC service in a flexible solution delivering voice, video, instant messaging, SMS, WhatsApp, Contact Centre and more via an app for Windows, Android, iOS and MacOS.
Xelion is totally focused on the channel with a partner only policy, so there are never any conflicts of interest. Becoming a Xelion partner provides supplier independence because unlike rival hosted platforms, Xelion supports any SIP compliant hardware, even legacy kit, and can be used with almost any network provider’s SIP trunk service. Partners can even use different SIP providers with different customers.
The Xelion hosted telephony service is FREE to use by channel partners. This allows partners to really familiarise themselves with the outstanding features and functions of the service so they can better communicate Xelion’s advantages to customers.
Commenting on Xelion’s presence at Channel Live, Dave Reynolds, UK Managing Director stated, “Prospective partners can see Xelion 8 demonstrated with major improvements and benefits for both users and partners. It sets a fantastic foundation for future releases and enhancements as the Xelion platform becomes fully API driven. There are major improvements to our admin tools and to ensure partners take full advantage of these improvements, we are providing a raft of training modules. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the Xelion stand.”
