Xelion is finalist in Comms Business Awards 2021

    September 12, 2021

    10 September 2021

Xelion, the cloud telephony provider, has been nominated as a finalist in the ‘Best UC Vendor’ category of the prestigious Comms Business Awards. Comms Business is a leading publication for the telecoms industry channel and its annual Awards are widely recognised as the premier accolades in the telecoms sector. The Awards celebrate and reward excellence in the provision of ICT solutions and are judged by an independent panel of industry experts.

Xelion offers an open platform architecture that channel partners can configure to their unique customer needs. Unlike rival hosted telephony platforms, there are no hidden extras or chargeable bolt-ons with all features, even call-recording included with Xelion, as standard.

Xelion channel partner Connaught has also been nominated in two categories: Reseller of the Year (up to £2.5M); and SMB ICT Solution (up to 250 users) for an innovative deployment of Xelion for a financial institution. Connaught Converged Solutions has been committed to supporting customers with their telephony and security systems for more than 30 years.

Commenting on the Award nominations, Dave Reynolds, Xelion UK Managing Director stated, “We are delighted to be a finalist in the prestigious Comms Business Awards. The nomination recognises that Xelion is not a ‘me-too’ product. Xelion has an open architecture so that third-party apps can be integrated seamlessly with the service. This allows our partners the freedom to design bespoke solutions for customers with best of breed apps that really meet their requirements, instead of a ‘one-size-fits-all’ service.

“It is also very gratifying that our partner Connaught is a finalist in two categories, especially for an innovative deployment of Xelion which allowed a provider of financial services to manage hybrid staff working during the pandemic, without major disruption for its customers.”

    Ends.
